HVH Group were engaged to project manage the planning for the commissioning phase of the new horticultural display building, known as the ‘Calyx’ which is due to open in June 2016. This role comprised scope definition and assignment of roles and responsibilities of the Executive team, including the preparation of a project charter; full project budget and project plan with critical milestones identified for the executive team. HVH Group also prepared an issues register for the Executive team and CEO which identified critical path items and provided solutions for addressing these to ensure that they did not impact on overall project delivery. HVH Group have recently completed an engagement that involved the management of the outsourcing of the Gardens retail operations. HVH Group chaired the tender committee and provided strategic procurement advice which included an Expression of Interest process being run, followed by a direct negotiation with the highest ranking proponent. This contract has now been awarded and the next stage of works being the retail shop refurbishment.
